‘Monki Punk’ rockers, BOO!, will be releasing their highly anticipated seventh album titled The Three Of Us on the 4th of October. After a six-year hiatus from the music industry, the band is back with their unsurpassed ‘Monki Punk’ sound and with an air of maturity in their lyrics.
Between 2004 and 2010, the band’s lead vocalist, Chris Chameleon, embarked on a successful solo career which saw him sell more than 200 000 units, win countless awards and he even tried his hand at acting appearing in local soapies such as Egoli and 7de Laan.
He now brings his experience into the new and more matured, BOO! sound. The band recorded the album, which has been re-mixed by Springbok Nude Girls producer Neal Snyman, in Amsterdam earlier this year.
Boo! will be launching the album with a free gig at Piazza on October 15. Furthermore, fans can check out the music video premiere of the single The Three Of Us on MK on September 22 or even better, those who are attending this year’s Rocking The Daisies festival, can catch their performance on the 9th of October at 9pm.
